Formally known as Sovereign Coronation are a hybrid variety of table grape developed in Canada. These vibrant blue-purple grapes resemble the related Concord variety. They were created in the 1970s at Agriculture Canada’s Pacific Agri-Food Research Centre in Summerland, British Columbia.
These grapes are fairly hardy and thrive in cool climates. They ripen as early as mid September (or beginning of August in a greenhouse), making them available earlier than traditional varieties. The flavor of Coronation grapes has been described as sweet-and-sour, sophisticated, and musky.
Comes in 2 gallon pot.
