Cucumis melo. One of the sweetest cantaloupe we have ever grown! Charentais melons have origins from west-central France. This highly aromatic French heirloom has a sweet, fruity flavour, with a very smooth silvery-green rind, and thick flesh. Fairly prolific 2-3ft vines produce 3-4 lb fruits.
